As a Video Game Tester at Lionbridge Games, you’ll play an important role in our projects, ensuring games meet the highest quality standards and provide an excellent experience for players.

 

Your Mission

  • Execute Test Cases:Carry out assigned testing tasks accurately and efficiently under the guidance of your mentor.
  • Identify Issues:Spot bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies within the game and document them clearly.
  • Bug Documentation:Record findings in our test database so the development team can review and address them.
  • Regression Testing:Re-test previously reported issues to confirm they have been resolved.
  • Provide Feedback:Share insights and improvement suggestions that help enhance the overall game quality.
  • Lifecycle Testing:Test the game at different stages to ensure readiness before release.
  • Support Test Updates:Assist in updating and refining testing materials as projects evolve.
  • Learn and Grow:Expand your understanding of testing methods, tools, and gaming platforms.

 

 

Wymagania

Your Player Profile

  • Basic knowledge of game engines (Unreal, Unity) or basic skills in C++, C#, or other programming languages
  • Availability during the week 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Experience is not required: Up to 6 months of experience in testing or a similar role is welcome but not required.
  • Passion for Games: A strong enthusiasm for gaming and familiarity with different genres and platforms.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot even the smallest inconsistencies or irregularities.
  • Collaboration: Enjoys teamwork and contributing to a shared project goal.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in building, testing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines to support machine learning workflows. This includes data ingestion, preprocessing, transformation, and ensuring data quality and consistency across environments
  • Contribute to the creation of intelligent agents capable of autonomous decision-making. Assist in integrating these agents into larger systems or applications, ensuring robust performance and scalability
  • Work on extracurricular or research-oriented tasks involving the training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of machine learning models using standard frameworks. Analyze model performance and iterate based on insights and metrics
  • Enhance team collaboration through participation in Agile development processes and understanding professional teamwork dynamics

Qualifications

 

  • Proficient in Python syntax and collections, pip, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) basics
  • Good understanding of basic linear algebra (vector and matrix operations), derivatives, and function plots
  • Knowledge of ML fundamentals: overfitting, gradient descent, classification, regression, metrics, and examples of ML models
